What you'll do
In this fun and hands-on photography class, you'll hone your skills on your digital camera, around Brisbane's most photogenic locations, like Brisbane Town Hall, Queen Street Mall, Brisbane War Memorial, and the Botanical Gardens.
You'll learn to take great daytime shots, with your camera's manual mode. Learn all about photo composition, and learn the easy tips and tricks to master ISO, aperture and shutter speed settings. Get feedback on the photos you take, as you practice with some creative challenges. You'll become adept at travel photography (street portraits, architecture, still life, abstract, landscapes, nature).
Light rain will be fine as there are sheltered areas available.
Your Brisbane teacher will be one of the following:
Nikky, a Brisbane based commercial photographer specialising in event, portrait and wedding photography with a Bachelor Degree in Photography from Griffith University in Southbank, Brisbane.
Sarah, a press photographer for the last 20 years, who has had the privilege of working with some incredible people and also covered some of our biggest national and international events including natural disasters, the Iraq War and political storms. Passing on her passion for photography is a welcome break from the chaos to calm her down with like-minded people.
If you are booking for a minor (under 16 years of age) to attend, they must be accompanied by a paying adult
