Night Photography Short Course

Intermediate level shooters can master low light shots, and use a tripod effectively

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 8

label $90 - $109 (or 4 payments of $22.50 - $27.25 Afterpay)
($109 per guest when you book for 1 guest, $99 for 2 guests, $95 for 3 guests, $90 for 4+ guests. $150 per class surcharge applies for private classes)

If you have a mirrorless, DSLR or hybrid camera that allows for manual control of your camera then this is the perfect course for you. You'll get to shoot Sydney's amazing cityscape, under my guidance.

You'll learn to control ISO, shutter speed & aperture expertly and creatively to produce beautiful low-light shots. I'll critique your photos so that you get the instant feedback you need to keep improving and expanding your perspectives. You'll become well acquainted with travel photography (street portraits, architecture, landscapes, still life, abstract, nature). You'll develop your technical skills whilst also discovering your personal creative style.

You'll get stunning shots no matter when you do this class, though Vivid Festival is always a highlight.

In the case of wet weather, this class may get cancelled; if that's the case you'll have the option of a refund or rescheduling.

Your Sydney teacher will be either:

Chris L Jones - an advertising, editorial and commercial photographer based in Sydney, Australia. He has worked with a wide range of clients and would describe himself as a lifestyle, people, food, travel and occasional art photographer.

Or Alfonso Calero - over the past 20 years, Alfonso has photographed everyone from politicians to artists and everything from exquisite food to amazing landscapes. He has won numerous photography awards, and speaks English, Japanese, Spanish and Tagalog.

FAQ
I've got a 13year old daughter. I bought her a DSLR camera for her Birthday. Is it OK if she does the course but I come along with her to help her and be her guardian?
Sam

For insurance reasons and in fairness to all other customers, everyone who joins must be a paying customer. Otherwise, she is welcome to come alone if you give written consent. Hope you understand.
