It was an absolutely lovely experience! My partner and I had a wonderful time, Helene was so supportive, informative and considerate.

I honestly cannot sing high enough praises, she absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we both had two beautiful and wearable rings, (I made a mistake with the sizing for one of mine) and Helene remade it and sent it to my home!

My daughter and I did the making 2 silver rings workshop with Helene from Tall Trees in Olinda. Helene was so knowledgeable about her craft and patiently taught us how to make them step by step. We had so much fun and the completed rings were beautiful. The studio was very well set up and had everything we needed and we learnt so much about the science and process. I would highly recommend this workshop as we got to do most of it ourselves and Helene also made it very enjoyable.

My wife and I booked a private ring making class with Helene. It was a really fantastic experience. Helene was patient, thorough as a teacher and great fun to learn from and work with. The workshop was clean and organised and the tools were in good shape as well. Amazing Experience

Helene’s Silver Ring Making workshop is a great choice for a fun crafternoon date with your partner or a group of friends! We learnt how to make 2 beautiful silver rings from start to finish. Helene is so knowledgeable and helpful as you make your way through the steps. We got to use both traditional and modern methods to design and shape our rings and learn about the history of jewellery making in the process!

I highly recommend this class to everyone, no matter your ability or skill level.

I booked this class for my boyfriend’s birthday. We both had so much fun and learnt so much about this beautiful craft. Helene was an incredible teacher, she was able to guide us both to make some beautiful rings that we will cherish for a very long time. The space was beautiful and very well thought out. My fiance and I recently attended Helene's silver ring making workshop for two class to create wedding rings for one another.

Even before the session began, Helene's communication with us was excellent. She kindly provided us with detailed directions on alternate ways to get to the studio considering a road closure on the main route at the time.

When we arrived at Tall Trees Studio, we were welcomed to the workshop, which was a bright and cosy space.

Helene walked us through the entire ring making process, from shaping the band, to connecting it together, sanding, polishing and final design. Helene was brilliant in helping us to create and execute a design we particularly had in mind, taking special care to add personal touches for our wedding bands, such as offering us to stamp our initials on the inside of our rings. Throughout the session, Helene shared interesting tidbits about the history and strength of different materials used in making rings and jewellery.

We had so much fun that the hours flew by! We were so happy to finish the day taking home the gorgeous rings we made. Thank you Helene for such a wonderful day, we look forward to wearing our rings soon!

This workshop was a surprise by my husband. I was extremely nervous to start with as I don’t have a crafty bone in my body but Helene was absolutely amazing! Her knowledge and advice was invaluable and I got right into it and with guidance along the way I was super proud of the two rings I made. My husband and I made one for each other and one for ourselves and had a really fun afternoon. Also, the workshop is a fabulous setup and everything you need on hand. Thanks a million Helene, I could easily fill my fingers making goodies at your classes. Highly recommend

Helen our teacher was so passionate and dedicated to her craft and that was conveyed in the way that she spoke, taught and guided us. She was patient with us and was not quick to fix our mistakes which we enjoyed. She happily guided us on fixing our own mistakes and when needed she jumped in and fixed them for us. Our experience was so special and having Helen their to guide us was truly something. We made our beaten rings into our wedding rings and the embossed rings into something fun for everyday living. We honestly cannot recommend this enough.

Great workshop. I've never done anything like this before, but always wondered if I would enjoy beading and I did! Helene was really helpful, generous and kind with her guidance. It must be really hard to watch amateur's when you are a talented designer yourself. She gently coached us into the right balance of aesthetics and being imaginative. The quality and quantity of beads was amazing. The ones I used were all hand made beads and when Helene added the clasps, it felt like a really expensive beaded necklace and bracelet. If you are looking for something different to do, to check if it is a hobby you wish to start, or to make something special I highly recommend this workshop. The Tall Trees Studio is amazing too!

The location is beautiful and easy to find. Our instructor Helene is very knowledgeable and explained every step to us so we could gain a deeper understanding of the process of making the rings. The rings themselves turned out beautifully and it was so much fun! I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Absolutely loved the silver ring workshop. Helen was so lovely and knowledgeable and explained every step perfectly. It was the perfect balance of Helen demonstrating what to do and then being able to try and put it into practice, while adding your own creative flair. I made two silver rings, one beaten ring and one embossed ring. The whole process was really interesting and I was so happy with the way they turned out, especially having never made a ring before!
