I'm so glad I committed to the beginner's class in tufting with Benjamin and Karen. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The process was quite physical when using the gun and it took me time to feel confident with the tufting techniques. I used a complicated design and I'm slow at doing anything so I needed Karen's help to finish within the time frame of the class.
Benjamin explained the tufting process well and was very supportive. My class mates were also positive and encouraging.
My little floral rug looks quite delightful in my home and my cat loves curling up on it.
I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to give tufting a go.

I learnt how to tuft for the first time, it definitely helped I had sewing experience but I feel anyone could pick it up. Lots of people in the class made amazing rugs and if you choose a fairly simple design, it'll be a breeze! The teachers were very supportive, class size was manageable (max 12 people). A bottle of water and a chocolate is provided so bring a snack if you need it!

Great class. Once book, draw your own design, review the photo pages of past classes to give you an idea of past students. Don’t be late, arrive minimum 5 minutes before start time. Wear whatever is comfy, bring glasses if need. Instructions on how class runs, how to use the tufting gun and safety issues are clear & concise. Anyone under 16 would need to be a mature & focused individual to compete the class unaided. Ben is very skilled, passionate & committed to his art & extremely knowledgable. Attended a full session with 11 other students. Will definitely consider a longer private small group class to follow up.

We had such a great time in the tuft rug making workshop. Benjamin was an incredibly patient and encouraging teacher. He explained each step clearly and made the whole process feel fun rather than intimidating.
My favourite part was watching the rug slowly come to life as the colours filled in. There was something really satisfying about seeing the design take shape, and Benjamin created such a relaxed atmosphere that it was easy to get into the flow.
If you’re looking for a creative class that’s hands‑on, calming, and genuinely enjoyable, this one is definitely worth it.

I loved it! We ran out of time because there were some technical issues (power out)
Benjamin was lovely, just needs to be more organised.
Will benefit from writing a list of topics to discuss in class; 1: introduce self 2: introduce class 3: talk about the craft. ECT. Keep everything timed to only 2-3 min
The materials were good only at the end we ran out of time, everything was rushed we didn’t get to learn about backings on the carpets properly. It was a very rushed 1, 2, 3
I really loved tufting the most. It was so much fun!

What an amazing workshop! Had a blast doing this workshop and with Ben who was the teacher. He was so informative, and everything was provided that we needed. The workshop was very interesting. All materials were provided. Benny was nice and helpful. I find the price quite high for a group session. However, my son is very happy that he participated in this workshop. We brought home an incredibly beautiful rug. I didn't think my son could do that. Our cat liked the rug straight away. It seems he feels a connection with this rug.
