The three-hour watercolour workshop at the Abbotsford Convent was an absolutely wonderful, calming experience that I highly recommend to anyone! The class structure built up my confidence, making it the best creative escape.
Christina was incredibly encouraging, taking the time to guide everyone through each step with great energy. The warm-up exercises made tricky concepts like water control and wet-on-wet blending simple to grasp.No More "Muddy" Colours. We learned techniques for layering soft colours while keeping the artwork looking fresh and vibrant. I loved learning how to paint the vibrant poppy, the intricate textures of the oyster mushroom, and the charming toadstool. The three-hour duration gave us plenty of time to practice our techniques. I left the workshop feeling inspired and proud of the beautiful botanical piece I created. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this class is worth every minute!
