The Lunar/Chinese New Year watercolour painting was admittedly my partner's idea, but I was very happy to have booked and attended this!
My first time using watercolour paints was a blast, combining our favourite teahouse, amazing tea and a fun, interesting painting session.
Ildy was informative, gave constructive feedback with care, and provided efficient guidance to all attendees at the level of their competence (or incompetence in my case!)
Materials were studio and professional grade, and Zensation Teahouse is a beautiful and very relaxing oasis of peace to do any kind of creative pursuit (or even just eat amazing dumplings and drink delicious teas).
Would recommend to any and all, even if you barely know how to hold a brush!

Great experience! I was a total beginner with watercolour painting, so I wasn't confident at all. But I was able to create a piece of artwork that I can be proud of! Ildy is an excellent teacher and walked us through everything simply and clearly. She has a lot of 3d art experience so she has a great understanding of lighting and colour, so she guided us on creating a work of art that looks really realistic.
The atmosphere of the Zensation tea house was also lovely and inviting, and it was a nice experience to drink a few teas while we painted.
