Absolutely incredible introduction to glassblowing, had so much fun and learnt so much, thanks to Nick, who was an excellent teacher. We each got to make a paperweight and a tumbler, and through that process learnt the basics of glassblowing, from picking up molten glass, to adding colour, using tools to shape the glass, assisting others in the class, all the while doing this safely with the oversight and help of Nick, who ensured we all made a glass paperweight and tumbler with ease. We got to pick them up the very next day, and we are definitely addicted to glassblowing now!

Such a fun class and unlike anything I've learnt before. Totally mesmerising process and now I have a cool tumbler with slightly wonky character, and a beautiful paperweight. Nick is an excellent teacher and he maintained a safe, informative, hands-on class. Definitely recommend!

We were a family of four and had a private lesson with Nick one weekend.
Nick was a wonderful teacher. There was alot of information to absorb, especially around safety and technique but Nick was always on hand to direct and help in a very calm manner. Thank goodness, as my beginner technique was severely lacking. We all had a great time as a family and now have a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the design and skill of this artisan trade. The time past very quickly. Workshop was easy to find, the dog is very friendly and I would recommend to anyone who is interested.

If only I could give 100 stars! Absolutely loved this workshop! The class was super easy to follow, really well structured, and just genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. I also loved that the group was small — it made everything feel really friendly and comfortable, like everyone already knew each other ️
Nick was so friendly and accommodating, and explained everything in a way that just made total sense. I originally booked this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, but honestly… I think it ended up being more of a gift for myself :D
And the best part is what you get to take home afterwards! I absolutely love my bird, and it feels so special knowing you made it yourself. Such a fun and different experience — definitely recommend this workshop! 100/10

I was given a class for my birthday but had always wanted to try glass blowing. The class was so much fun! The instructor was very clear and spent a lot of time on safety and technique and was right there to guide you and help out if you needed it. He was very knowledgeable and explained each step first.
