It was a very fun and beneficial lesson my teacher was Rocco. He showed me how to push and ride on the board, and taught me the drills to do a kick turn and had me practice it a lot. It gave me a good idea of what skating was like and what I need to practice on and what ways to practice it.

I'd organised a private class with some work friends who had also never skated before. We had a great time learning with Dylan, who was a really helpful instructor. I've since been inspired to get a loaner skateboard to practice and I suspect we've started to annoy people at work with our eagerness to start a skate gang.
