What you'll do
Get your little one to learn Aboriginal dot painting at this fun and interactive painting class in Perth!
They'll come along and learn a little about our Culture and create their very own souvenir to take with them, as a keepsake of this memorable experience.
What they'll learn:
- Fun introduction to Aboriginal culture and beliefs
- Learn about ancient symbols
- Learn some introductory Yawuru words (Yawuru is a local language to Broome)
The session will run for one hour, during which Mum and Dad can go for coffee.
At the end of the class, kids will take home an amazing dot painting of their own story and deeper knowledge and understanding of Indigenous art and culture.
Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly.

I am an Aboriginal woman of the Djugun, Yawuru and Bardi Jawi Tribes, who owns and operates a business that respects each and all the different Aboriginal groups and Non-Indigenous.
I have hosted Art exhibitions, sold at markets, been invited to be a part of numerous exhibitions, and invited to collaborate and work with schools.
I was taught by my mother and now my children learn and sell their artworks.
I am very passionate about my culture and empowering my people, especially our youth, no matter what tribe they come from.
