What you'll do
Join us for an exciting acrylic pouring class in Sydney's inner west, where you'll learn the captivating art of 'dirty pours' and 'flip cup' pours.
This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through the mesmerising process of creating unique abstract artworks using acrylic paint and mediums. No experience is needed as we will provide step-by-step guidance along the way.
During this three-hour session, you will be provided with a cheeseboard, a cheese knife, and two wooden coasters to experiment on. As you combine acrylic paint with mediums, you'll witness the creation of beautiful cells on your own pieces.
Get ready to dive into the fun and addictive world of pour painting!
Children aged 13 years and over are welcome to join the workshop, accompanied by a paying adult. It's a fantastic opportunity to bond and unleash your creativity together.
The class will provide all the materials you need, and our experienced instructors will assist you in mastering the techniques. You'll leave with a one-of-a-kind wooden cheese board, perfect for serving antipasto, two small coasters, and a cheese knife to experiment with colors.

- Your creations will need time to dry, so you will need to leave them in the studio for up to three to four days before picking them up.
- If you're interested, we offer an additional resin pouring service at an extra cost. At the end of the class, we'll also cover resin techniques.

Your teacher
Tennyson Studio is my Ceramic Art and Paint N Sip Studio in Gladesville in Sydney. I took up ceramics and acrylic painting workshops as a hobby back in 1996, did US Ambassadors Ceramics Course with Duncan in 1998 and upon quitting my fulltime job, opened my studio in 2001.
We have been creating and inspiring anyone who has never painted before to unwind, create, and paint for the joy and therapeutic benefits. We are all about enjoying the experience with us especially if you have never painted or worked with ceramics before.
Our Introduction class session is a great way to see if you would like to join us in a course. We also offer kids and adult birthday parties, hens parties, corporate team bonding, school holiday workshops and kids art classes.
