Join Sydney Cooking School for a four-week adult cooking course. Learn everything from the correct way to chop an onion to making pasta from scratch and even how to grill the perfect steak!

This course is suitable for beginner and intermediate cooks alike. It is perfect for those starting out in the kitchen, all the way to avid cooks who enjoy cooking several times a week.

This is a fantastic and informative course, taught in a fun and friendly environment. You will attend four sessions, one night a week for four consecutive weeks.

Each class will focus on a different area of the meal, beginning with knife skills and safety, making quinoa and rice, different styles eggs, salads and sides then with each week progressing through entrees, mains and desserts. Learn to cook four to five dishes each week cooking with different proteins and ingredients.

During this hands-on and informative class, you will learn and prepare your own dishes. Working individually and in pairs, participants will be learning in a hands-on and interactive environment at cooking stations set accordingly each class.

During the class participants are provided with tasters of some of the food and some dishes will be available to take home. During week three, the mains class, enjoy the special treat of a sit-down feast of all the food you have created - and enjoy a glass of wine with your fellow students.

Sydney Cooking School (SCS) reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class for reasons concerning SCS. If a class has been cancelled due to low attendance, sickness or any other matter regarding SCS, all students will be notified within 48 hours of the class commencement date, and the option to reschedule to another date or full refunds provided.

We have a variety of themed menus and packages available, and our formats are suitable to anyone, from the absolute beginner to the more passionate cook. As well as our regularly scheduled classes, we offer masterclasses in Pastry, Chicken & Duck and Pork & Cider, as well as Children’s School Holiday classes.

If you prefer to be out of the Kitchen join us in our fabulous BBQ area for one of our Popular BBQ classes – Things really heat up in these classes so ensure you dress comfortably.

Chef Paul and the School’s venue is ideal, well equipped, and centrally located. The teaching style is professional, knowledgeable but relaxed, leaving students confident to build on knowledge and take on what they learn immediately outside of the class.
