Adults Wheel Throwing and Hand - Building Course

8 x 2 hours 1 to 8 (public classes), 4 to 10 (private label $320 or 4 payments of $80 Afterpay

In this wheel throwing and hand building pottery course we will combine theory, technique, skill building and fun to help get your creative out and shining!

Along with the assistance of your experienced teacher, this course will provide you a strong foundation for working on a potter’s wheel as well as learning the techniques and craft of hand-building. Once you have had the chance to try both methods of making, you will have the freedom to choose to focus on your preferred method.

This workshop is designed for novice potters with little or no prior experience in working at the pottery wheel throwing.

We aim for you to be confident in using the potters wheel, experience the joy of creating things with your own hands and enjoying the therapeutic benefits of working with clay by the end of the course!

What you'll get
Students will get to have a fun time creating with clay. On average, students create 8-10 pieces of finished glazed pieces by the end of the term to take home.

Clay, glaze and all materials are included in the price.

Firing is an additional cost of $9 per kilogram of firing.
What to bring
Bring an apron and wear closed toe shoes.

This class series runs for 8 consecutive weeks, at the same time each week
