Providing social art classes in beautiful South Brisbane

I'm a Brisbane-based artist, and I've been painting and drawing since my early childhood days. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Queensland Art Gallery, which gave me ample opportunity to pursue my passion and hone my skills.

I'm very much inspired by the beauty and diversity of Australia. Many of my paintings focus on landscapes, surreal, animals and people. North Queensland is a particular favourite, and you'll see the influence of coral seas and mountain landscapes throughout my artwork. I have a post-impressionist style through which I try to capture the wonder of the world around us.

I specialise in pastel on card, and acrylic on canvas, though I'm also experimenting with abstract and air brush.

I've been fortunate enough to display my work in many art exhibitions, and have been the recipient of many prizes and awards.

Wesley and his assistant were very good tutors. Whilst I am very new to painting, the instruction and set up was tremendous. The value for money and fun from the class will have me returning. Thank you Wesley.

We booked the Australian landscapes session and the booking said it started at 7:00. When we go there it was a portrait session and they were 30 mins in. Then the attendant made the whole thing weird and it was horrible.

Awesome session in the evening from Wesley Taylor studios. Teacher will teach you right from ground up. In between the session, many tips are shared. You will never run out of colors or assistance as someone will be always around to check on you. Even though its a group class you get personal attention. Moreover the session is full of fun, laughs and enjoyment. The best feeling you get at the end is the master class you produce. Mine Angel fish was the biggest in the class :) Best to see all the encouraging words form the teacher. Communal bar venue is perfect as it is in CBD and close to public transport. Even if anyone has not touched brush or paint in their entire life, try this at least once. It will be addictive. I bet on it. Thanks Wesley Taylor studio I am booking one more session in coming month !
