I really enjoyed the Slow Stitching Workshop: Patchwork with Rose. She was incredibly kind, patient and helpful, and gave us plenty of hands-on guidance throughout the workshop. There was a fantastic choice of beautiful fabrics, ribbons, embroidery threads and other materials, giving us lots of freedom to experiment and create something personal. I did the first part patchwork and next time i ll do all the finitions and all the fancy hand stichings!
Rose created such a relaxed, welcoming and creative atmosphere and was always available to offer advice and encouragement. She even made us a beautiful homemade cake, which was such a thoughtful and delicious touch! It was a wonderful creative experience and would definitely recommend it!

Rose is the kindest, most helpful teacher and the class is in a beautiful space. I learnt a number of different embroidery stitches, and importantly learnt how - when used in different combinations - they can create something gorgeous, elaborate and layered. Rose provided a generous selection of quality, beautiful fabrics and threads, and advice throughout the session how to make your piece even more special. I’ll be back as I continue to work on my piece.

I went home and finished my first sewing project from the super kit you prepared. I even remebered how to thread my machine. I never could have done this without you. I was so glad that I waited until I got to your class before I fired-up the sewing machine (since I had no idea how to use it). Will definitely be back for more lessons!

Fabulous workshop and we LOVE our spinner rings! We attended as a friend group and it was a great afternoon together. We so enjoyed spending time with Rose, learning about working with the materials and tools, the delicious afternoon tea cake, and of course our rings. Wow! This was such an incredible, personalised, informative class and honestly, one of the most special classes I’ve ever attended. I was blown away with the generosity of materials and preparation that had gone into making this such a great day. From the fabric options, to the take home kits, the clear instructions that we got to take home as-well, to the sheer knowledge that Rose shared with us and I can’t forget the best chocolate cake I’ve ever eaten. I am so keen to book in more classes with Rose. She has a heart of gold and is such a patient and kind teacher. I feel so inspired to sew now and really feel the skills I’ve acquired over just a few short hours can have me making whole outfits for myself.
Cannot recommend this class highly enough!! So fun for a family activity or a team building event. Love love loved it!!

I’m a beginner at sewing and only ever used a sewing machine in high school, It’s been almost 20 years since I’ve attempted to use one. I’ve always desired to create my own textile designs I have an obsession for collecting fabric paired with the dream that one day I will be able to create something unique and beautiful. I have fallen flat in my confidence overtime to learn, I’m neurodivergent and have struggled in classrooms as I need the space and patience of a teacher to ask many questions as well as one on one support. Rose is a gracious and wonderful teacher, she has an energy that is so inviting and welcoming for a beginner like me, her studio is full of her creations (not just sewing) you name it she does it, I felt uplifted and inspired being in her presence and space. Rose is a blessing to have in these spaces and I Can’t wait to continue my learning from her. Highly recommend

Such a fun afternoon making gourd lanterns! Rose was a delightful teacher - super knowledgeable and helpful, and I came away with a gourdgeous piece of art for my courtyard garden and learnt some new skills on the dremel rotary tool. Highly recommend!
