What you'll do
You bring the wine and we'll bring the clay! Join Silky Shapes in Crows Nest for this interactive clay hand building class and learn how to make pots as you sip drinks and nibble on snacks.
This two-hour wine and pottery class is the perfect way to spend some quality and fun time with friends, it’s a great date night idea or the perfect corporate team building activity.
The combination of wine and clay allows you to fully unwind while learning a tactile new skill. These sessions are BYO wine and nibbles allowing you to enjoy your favourite things while getting your hands muddy and creating beautiful and functional ceramics.
Don't feel like drinking wine? Bring tea or coffee or anything else you feel like drinking! Don't forget to pack cups, nibbles, bottle openers and plates for yourself.
We will provide instructions, materials and tools for making a cup and a saucer or small plate. You will also be able to pick glaze colours for your cups and saucers. Your creations will be ready to pick up a couple of weeks later after we've glazed and fired them.
These cups and saucers will be food-safe, and you will be able to eat and drink out of them, and put them in the microwave and dishwasher.
