Q: Hi Mary, I would like to attend your teapot making class with a friend but she is 7 months pregnant right now. Do you think her belly would get in the way? I just want to make sure she would be comfortable doing these classes.
A: I've had pregnant students in the past including one who was at least 6 months. If your friend can comfortably sit over a table then she should be fine.
Q: How long is it between making the teapot and drying and firing it?
A: After you make the teapot on the day it is left at the studio to be air dried, glazed and kiln fired twice. The process takes about four weeks and you will be notified once the teapot is ready. It can be posted to you (extra charge may apply for this).
Q: What's the cancellation policy?
A: No cancellations, but free to reschedule up until 7 days before the class; 24 hours notice if you must COVID-isolate - we may ask for proof of COVID, for the shorter notice period
Q: How long does the class run for, what's the price?
A: 2.5 hours, $129 - $149 per person ($149 per guest when you book for 4 guests, $139 for 5 guests, $129 for 6+ guests)

Looking for fun things to do in Sydney? Transform a block of clay into a teapot that you can show off to your friends at your next tea party!
In this practical Sydney class, you will learn hands-on techniques such as pinching and coiling to create your own unique teapot. Take some time for yourself, in the tranquil and scenic surrounds of Bundeena, as a form of art therapy.
You'll get to keep your fully functional teapot - something to treasure for years or even generations to come! You'll also get to apply your personal touch, such as choosing a glaze colour. And don't worry, your teapot will be 100 per cent food safe and suitable for tea brewing.
Here are just a few things we'll cover:
This class is great for a team building activity, birthday, hens party or bucks party.
This would also be a unique gift for her, gift for mum or anniversary gift.
