Searching for fun things to do in Perth with kids? Learn the basics of clay sculpture and create your own mystical creatures!
Working with an artist, kids and adults will create a fantastical clay sculpture of either a dragon’s head or a unicorn’s head. You will start by designing and drawing a unicorn or dragon of your own, using your imagination to decide how your sculpture will look.
As you are guided through creating your unicorn/dragon with clay, kids and adults will learn a variety of modelling and sculpting techniques, improving dexterity, hand-eye coordination and the ability to create with clay. Everyone will experience curiosity, focus and excitement, walking away with your very own mystical unicorn or dragon masterpiece!
Parents and carers are welcome to attend but children can attend alone. All attendees must purchase a ticket.
This class is great for a team building activity, birthday or hens party.
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 6 years old).
Adult accompaniment is not required.

I help individuals and organisations to improve communication, leadership, influence and emotional intelligence, by delivering insightful PD training, coaching and presentations that provide simple, practical skills to use straight away.
I also run art classes for kids and families, as well as creative classes for adults in Perth. I cover a range of media including painting, sculpture, clay, drawing, plaster-casting, rug making, etc.
No prior experience necessary, all abilities are welcome.
