Vision: My purpose & passion is to help people realise their hidden talents; to shine in all aspects of their lives in order to be the best possible version of themselves.
A contemporary Artist based on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, My belief is that art and colour play an important role in our lives. Greatly influenced by colour, my art generates feelings of love, light and joy.
Painting has filled a fundamental need in my life, it has helped me deal with the negative aspects of life and given me a sense of fulfillment. The use of paint, brushes and tools allows me to feel as though I am taken into another world, feeling peaceful and uplifted.
Growing up, I wasn't particularly creative, I was an adult when I discovered Art. I enjoyed it and kept going, I quickly developed a deep passion and love of working with paint. This gave me the confidence, self-belief and drive to continue. It felt as though I had filled a gap I hadn’t even realised was there. Through my own life experience I feel a part of my journey is to encourage people to reconnect with the joy in their life through art, therefore holding regular classes and workshops for adults & children at your location or mine. My motto is "Learn to Paint, Anyone Can".
With over 20 years of painting experience and having taught art to many people along the way, my painting styles are now numerous and can include fine detailed work, quirky, whimsical or layered drippy abstracts, often incorporating figures, words, birds and nature, in an array of vibrant colours. I enjoy the flexibility of painting with acrylics, using texture, collage and exploring various mixed media and abstract works.
My work is available online and at times is exhibited in venues and art exhibitions throughout Victoria, incorporating successful sales. I have held solo and joint exhibitions, along with sales throughout specialty shops.
I support animal welfare and homelessness via donations to a variety of charities.

Loved the studio! It was full of inspiration with bursts of colour at every turn! It was a really relaxing environment to switch off and just let your mind go. With the music in the background and paintbrush at hand I got to create a beautiful bright pot that makes me smile. Would definitely do this again.

A great workshop to unwind and get creative. The process making obliges you to let go and Michelle is there every step of the way to explain and guide when needed.

We loved this class and had great fun. All the materials were provided and Michelle was very helpful in showing us how to express our artistic flair.
Great for beginners and anyone who wants to have fun with colour. Highly recommended.

Michelle was fantastic, and gave just the right amount of feedback and assistance. The venue was perfect, light and airy, and I learnt a completely new technique that had me wanting to continue. Beautiful workshop, definately coming back.

Terrific day, the teacher was excellent, venue terrific and there were lots of choices of paints and stencils. We are total novices but with a little help and guidance we we’re able to create beautiful artworks we can’t wait to hang.

So much fun… the whole night was awesome. We met some really lovely girls all having a great time. We will definitely be back for other classes. I promise you won’t be disappointed the wine the company and plus we learnt something as well it was so worth the money.
