Hi everyone if you don’t know me my name is Chez Andrews and I have been around the crafting and Cricut circles for a number of years.
Proud to be known as the very First Cricut Coach in Queensland and second within Australia, I have always been in employment where I have been able to help people. Teaching Cricut was something I was so passionate about. They say you have to find something you love to do and you won’t have to work a day in your life. Well maybe not all of that is true because I worked my behind off delivering classes all across Brisbane but I absolutely loved it, and I still do.
I love seeing people finally 'get' the Cricut Design Space and beam with excitement seeing their ideas come to life. My mantra is “Craft is my Passion… Sharing it is my joy” it is my absolute truth and why I do what I do.
I have many years of Cricut experience and have held Cricut classes and safely ran the very first Cricut Retreats in the midst of our initial lockdowns during covid.
I became a Cricut brand ambassador in Brisbane and was driving all over teaching people how to get started and helping build the bridge to understanding for the very steep learning curve of Cricut software. During lockdown 2019 when all came to a grinding halt and I was unable to go into stores to teach groups of people, I realised I needed to be able to continue my work “online”. As an old school operator this was a challenge as I had never done anything “live before” and what was this “zoom thing”? but with some amazing support I changed it up a gear and started teaching my classes “on line” which I enjoy doing and I still teach all over Brisbane. Initially my classes were all about beginners (and to be honest I still love my newbies) but I teach all skills and ability levels. I have some lovely NDIS clients I work with who love using their Cricut machines and I’m told I am very patient. I also love teaching kids and It warms my heart to see their enthusiasm and wonder as they see the machines working.
I have a support Facebook group I set up back in 2019 to keep in touch with people during lockdowns. The little FB group of about 50 has now just on 4, 500 members. I would love to support you too, questions are always welcome in our little crafting Community, we offer as much help as we can to each other. You will find me on Facebook as Brisbane cricut classes by “Too Crafty” (Chez). I look forward to seeing you in class, whether in person or on zoom. Whether a brand new crafter or an experienced crafter who wants to learn new things, all are welcome to my classes.
Thank you and see you soon.
warmest regards Chez J Andrews xo
