Will go again! Great experience.

Understandably they had run out of some stencils with the busy school holiday period. Nevertheless, I was a little disappointed that I had pre-selected the piece in my head and wasn’t able to do it. I was given great advice from a friend; who’s done this soooooo many times, that I would need to get in quick (grab my stencil) and start straight away.

Once I got over that hurdle, I got stuck in, with some teaching pointers and guidance along the way from the experts (staff). They were great at stepping in when needed. They were all very pleasant.

I went with a group of 5. Prior to attendance, Merryl and crew were super helpful and supportive in helping me to solve some planning troubles behind the scenes.

We all walked away super pleased with ourselves and a piece we were all excited to share with the family.

The time pressure for some (including myself) proved intense. My naivety didn’t prepare me for that. We had time at the end to finish what was left of the delightful spread catered by staff. Thank you for that :)

It was nice to be able to enjoy a glass or two whilst doing this activity and one of the girls even offered to pour our drinks once or twice! What service.

Overall, the five of us were very pleased with our experience and I for one am looking forward to doing it again.

Lots of designs and shapes to choose from. Good help and guidance from the instructors. Easy to get a fairly intricate design finished in the allocated time.

DIY Large Mosaic Craft Kit

Really enjoyed doing this one. Takes a bit of skill to cut the tiles so my cuts were not the best. Plenty of tiles and colours included in the kit. Fast delivery.

Casual Glass Fusing Class

It was an interesting new experience. The teacher was very helpful and friendly and I managed to make a nice little bowl which will be on my table for biscuits.

Next Level Glass Fusing Workshop

A friend and I just completed the fused glass jewellery course at Merryl's Glass & Mosaic Studio, and had a fabulous afternoon. Our teacher was informative and helpful, the choice of materials was extensive, and the time few by as we created 8 unique jewellery pieces each. Can't wait to see the finished products after firing.

My daughter chose Merryl’s for her 11th birthday party. She and ten friends spent a happy couple of hours creating mosaics. Merryl was our capable host and a great time was had by all.

Kids Jewellery Box or Treasure Chest and Jewels Class

I would highly recommend to book into, and do a Fused Glass Workshop at ClassBento. It was an amazing experience. I was generously gifted a class and was apprehensive about doing it, as I had no experience working with glass. All of that was not necessary as Merryl and her assistant provided a wealth of knowledge, patience & encouragement along with an endless supply of materials; suitable for all tastes to use. Every person was given individual time and effort to complete their chosen item. Therefore, all the techniques required were generously taught and were achievable in the allotted timeframe. I thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere within the workshop, from start to finish. Being a first class, and just scraping the surface regarding all the different Fused Glass techniques, I was so grateful for the gift and know that I will be back.
The venue was great, easy to access, plenty of free street parking, within a 10 min walk. Thank you ClassBento, a wonderful experience.

Kids Jewellery Box or Treasure Chest and Jewels Class

What a fantastic afternoon creating Jewellery Boxes! My 7 year old son was fortunate to get a voucher after a friend couldn’t find a jewellery box that would suit him for his birthday. He had a brilliant time sharing this experience with a friend. It was a great balance of giving them guidance but also making them feel comfortable to follow their creative intuition to design boxes that they were proud of. We will definitely be back to make some mosaics in the near future.

Casual Glass Fusing Class

Merryl is an excellent teacher. She is encouraging and genuinely wants her class participants to learn new skills and create a piece they can be proud of. Glass fusing is similar in many ways to mosaics. I want to return and take this class again. All materials were provided and the range of glass was extensive. I have added a photo of my work pre-firing. It takes a couple of weeks to complete the process. Cannot wait to see my finished bowl.

School Holidays Mosaic Class for Kids

Lovely class for my 8 year old and her friend. I appreciated the opportunity to stay on site as my daughter is anxious and she had selected a tricky mosaic stencil. I’m saying this, Merryl was fantastic and offered lots of help and guidance. Both kids left with beautiful artworks and had a great experience overall.

Bead Mosaic Workshop for Kids (4 Years Plus)

This class was lots of fun and really allowed for creative flow. The instructor taught us the basic principles of glass fusing, and showed us how to use the tools and machines to cut and grind the glass pieces into the shapes we wanted for our designs. I'm really happy with my final piece, although I just wish I had more time in the class to keep creating and add the finishing touches! Thanks for a great experience.

Mosaic Party for Kids

Thank you so much to the Meryl’s Mosaics team for putting on such an incredibly organized party for my daughter Mikayla’s 10th birthday.

This was a great beginners class. There are a huge variety of designs to choose from. Meryl shows you how to cut the glass to size and then provides tips on how to best place it on the design. Lots of colour options to choose from top. Some amazing designs on class to be inspired by.

Three hours was just the right amount of time to complete my design. I think it was great value for money.

Meryl has created a very unique and inspiring place to be creative.

I am keen to do another class in the future.
