We did the mosaic making class for our 11 y old daughter’s birthday party. Meryl’s team expertly managed thirteen 11 year olds so they all finished beautiful mosaics and had time for party food and cake. They had a great time and it was extremely well organised, we just turned up with a cake. Thank you!

We did a moasic and sip session for my mum's 60th. We all really loved it. Lots of fun. The teachers were very friendly and accommodating. We especially loved that we were able to arrive early and use the outdoor courtyard so we could sing happy birthday and mingle a little prior to the lesson. Highly recommend!

Was such a lovely class! I came home with a mosaic mirror that i'm so stoked with. There is a great range of designs to choose from, and a great background playlist to vibe to while you're chatting and cutting glass. Would definitely do this again - Recommend!

I have just spent 3 hours learning how to do glass fusing at Merryl's Mosaics. I had been given a gift voucher. It has been a wonderful experience and Merryl took time and care sharing her vast knowledge with me. Before I attended this class I researched glass fusing and arrived with a predrawn picture so I didn't waste any precious time. Now I am excitedly waiting for the finished product. I was given lots of ideas and have chosen to have my finished work draped so it will be semi circular.

We booked in for a casual class and had the best time making a small piece each. Merryl and Gigi were very accommodating and such skilled artists. The studio is lovely and on a quiet day the atmosphere is so peaceful. I cannot recommend this highly enough! Thank you Merryl and Gigi

Great class. Lots of designs to pick from. Super easy to pick how to cut the glass. There was chill music in the background. Meryln let us stay a 40 mins longer at the end of the session to complete and grout our pieces. Otherwise we would have to pay more for pick up sessions to complete our artworks. My advice, you have about 2.5hrs to complete your work, as you need to grout it which takes an additionally 20 mins - don't pick a hard design, or spend ages picking your colours. Pick an easy design if you are going to go slow and chat with your friendsOnly probelm was they were lacking in the purple section. There was only a two shades of purple. They were both very light, one was pinkish and purple, and one was lilac. No other purples. Nothing darker. Every other colour had more than two options.I would come back again.

Intensive Mosaic Workshop for Beginners
This was a fantastic complete introduction to Mosaics. Meryl was able to adapt the teaching and the class to each of our needs and everyone could move at their own pace and we all ended with very different and amazing pieces and the skills and knowledge to take this further at home if we wanted. Very helpful handout with all the equipement etc summarised will also be super useful in the future. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the birthday party for our daughter at Meryls. All kids enjoyed it, both boys and girls. Fused Glass Coral Bowl Workshop
I have abolutely loved every workshop I have attended at Meryl's studio. Today I made a Glass coral bowl with the help of my teacher Georgina. She was fabulous - very knowledgeable but also allowed you the freedom to use your own creativity. I thoroughly enjoyed the class with Merryl. She clearly explained each step of the process and was quickly available if we had any questions. There were plenty of examples to provide inspiration and a wide range of coloured glass to choose from. Can’t wait to see my bowl after it has been fired in the kiln. I absolutely LOVED this class! Kiki was so lovely full of knowledge, explained everything what it was all about and the stages and I have a Disability and she was so compassionate, patient and encouraging. I loved the different types of designs you could make with the amazing range of glass and can’t wait to see the finished pieces I made in this class. I am going to give them as Christmas Presents this year and also show people that people with a Disability can do amazing things and express themselves. I put thought into my pieces I made to suit the Indivaluality to the person I made it for. I would most definitely recommend you book to do this class, you won’t want to leave!

I couldn’t feel the time passing because I was so absorbed in what I was doing.This was actually the first class I had ever attended, and I was so excited to go every time!
