Looking for fun kids activities? Get your child comfortable in the kitchen at our curry cooking class in The Gap!
Kids can come along and cook up a storm in a small group at these hands-on classes. They'll learn culinary skills, how to use kitchen tools safely and discover how to interpret a recipe.
What's on the menu?
- Mild butter chicken with chickpea curry (veg option available at time of booking)
- Savoury and sweet filo samosas
- Homemade naan bread
- Fresh raita
- Pilau rice
At the end of the class, kids will leave with containers full of recipe items made and also the booklet of recipes to keep!
- Three plastic containers for their food and a water bottle.
- What to wear: Enclosed shoes on and long hair tied back, please.
Suitable for kids from 7 to 11 years old. Adult accompaniment is not required.
Since 2002 our qualified classroom teacher has been running Brisbane cooking workshops and also in the UK and has vast experience with children and adults of all ages and abilities.
Creativity is a messy and important part of childhood but don’t worry, we clean up!
We can cater for students of all abilities; inquisitive cooks, creative minds, beginners and even help fussy eaters. In this current stage of Covid-19 we run Zoom dinner club classes for kids and special themed cooking nights on Zoom for adults. Face-to-face classes will be opening from 15th of June.
Our lessons are taught in a commercial-class kitchen with on-street parking and lots of local cafes and bushwalks right here.
