I did this class with my hyperactive 9yo son for Mother's Day and it was so fantastic, because he could be as messy and noisy as he needed to concentrate, without us leaving the comfort of home. The teacher, Ella, was so patient and encouraging, and we were both thrilled with the terrariums we created. Thank you Ella.

DIY Kit Forest Closed Terrarium Kit

I used the instructions provide to set up the plant system. It was easily done. This kit was worth the wait and time! Building my DIY succulent terrarium felt less like crafting decor and more like composing a quiet ecosystem. Layering stone, charcoal, soil, and tiny plants reminded me that beauty depends on structure we rarely notice. Each succulent carried its own personality: one upright and resilient, another soft and patient. When I finished, the glass vessel held more than greenery; the desert in a glass dome is alive where love, care and imagination can coexist. The terrarium is radiant and alive, asking me to slow down, and appreciate how life thrives. It’s a living reminder of nature doing Yoga.

This class online through Zoom was excellent.

Lelia was an excellent teacher. The kit arrived 4 days before the class with instructions whereby I could have put it together myself, but having Lela online talking me through it was very helpful.

She even explained how to look after and water the Terrarium.

Thoroughly recommend it.

This was another great class doing terrarium. Teacher very patient explained why we put stones on base moss then doinl etc for drainage so pants not to wet and fed through roots of succulents. Very pretty with pebbles and kit comes with everything needed as well.

It was for my daughter, the teacher was good. In mutual interest, a follow up contact to see how the terrarium is performing would be nice, not necessary though - just a suggestion. Also could help to see if my daughter has any friends interested and was interested in doing another one sooner or later :)
