Really loved learning a new skill as an adult in a more intimate space with great teachers - Michael is so lovely as is Rob. I liked learning in a classroom space which we often forget as adults. I really enjoyed that we could practise the skills by going through the process three times to get three + more

It was great to gain experience on a couple of hand tools that I had not previously used, and to do so under Michael's expert supervision. The time was both productive and fun!

The sessions were hands-on with plenty of time to practice with the tools. Michael has a nice and calm manner that make students comfortable to learn and ask questions.

Great class, great and patient teachers with a tremendous amount of knowledge. Made a few boxes with good quality handtools in a clean, streamlined and tidy workshop. Took away a lot of learnings from this. Will come back to learn more.

The teaches were great very helpful. I made 2 boxes. Due to a flat battery I was an hour late to the last class so didnt quite finish t 2nd box but got it to the stage that I could easly finish it at home, this was my fault not the fault of the lenght of the course or the teachers. I enjoyed learning + more

Great course, I learnt so much, got to use a bunch of different tools and learn to work with different timbers. The results were beyond what I thought I’d be able to make! Loved it!

What a fantastic course well worth it. Easy to book. The 2 teachers were great. They explained everything to the whole class of 10. All the hand tools were in near new condition, clean and tidy workshop. Plenty of time to make 2 boxes in 4 weeks. Different woods to choose, different finishes (oils). + more

A fun class with great teachers.... they really know their stuff and how to communicate it. I went with my adult son and we both enjoyed the experience, plus we had 2 lovely boxes to show for it.

Great course. Learnt a lot. So satisfying to learn how to use new tools (especially the planner). And you get two oiled wooden boxes with lid to take home.

Even better than the first boxmaking course - learned new tools and made a beautiful box

This is a great course for growing your basic woodworking skills. With the introduction of machines such as ban saws, table saws and routers, your woodworking opportunities are opened. On the other hand you continue to work with hand tools and hone the basic skills needed for any job.
