Led by the talented Sydney Drag icon, Glambassador, and experienced artist, the Fabulous Wonder Mama, this workshop will take you on a creative journey with oil pastels. No prior experience is necessary, so you can relax with a drink in hand and let Wonder Mama guide you through the process.
Using oil pastels on black paper and artboard, you'll start with some simple exercises to get inspired and then dive into a fun final project. Wonder Mama will share her best tips and tricks to help you create quality artwork, drawing from her 20 years of experience in art and design.
The workshop will be held at the enchanting Julie Peadon Art Studio in Drummoyne, where you'll have the opportunity to connect with friends and enjoy a delightful evening of drink and draw.
Please note that for the open to general public classes, a minimum of 10 guests is required for the class to run. In the event that the minimum is not reached, Wonder Mama will contact you 24 hours prior to reschedule to another date that suits you.
You'll not only learn new skills but also take home a fabulous artwork that showcases your newfound skills!
This is an adult class run by a drag queen, there may be adult themes. This class is not recommended for anyone under 18 years.

The Fabulous Wonder Mama is a cosplay/drag persona I have been performing for about 6 years now when she first appeared in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras!
Since then Wonder Mama has appeared at events around the world such as World Pride in New York City and Wonder Con in Anaheim California! She does a lot of charity work and fundraising as well as free Storytime events both online and in-person!
As Renny, I was a graphic designer and illustrator for over 20 years and have recently written and illustrated two children's storybooks that are for sale on Amazon around the world. I still design, illustrate and dabble in all sorts of creative things!
