Learn to decorate this beautiful cake in a fun two-hour class!



2 hours Class size 2 to 15     label $149

Learn to create and decorate a beautiful chocolate mud drip cake topped with chocolates and fondant covered cookies.

In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn how to cut and smoothly ganache a cake and to decorate with a chocolate drip.

You will use rolled fondant and marbling techniques to perfectly decorate your cookies and add the finishing touch to your cake!

At the end of this class, not only will you take home your gorgeous drip cake but also a whole range of new skills to continue your cake decorating journey at home.

Please note: Private classes of four or more people can be held at the venue at Bondi Junction, or at additional venue at Drummoyne. Private classes of two or three people can be held at your home or venue. Should you wish to book a private class of two or three people at either the Bondi Junction or Drummoyne venue, there will be an additional charge of $170 for venue hire.


Knowledge required
Suitable for absolute beginners!

This class is suitable for people 12 years old and over. Adult accompaniment is not required; if parents wish to remain in the classroom with their child, an additional class place must be purchased.
What you'll get
You will take home your beautiful creation, along with step by step class notes with pictures and all the recipes so that you can recreate your cake at home.
 
What to bring
You will need to wear closed-toed shoes, tie long hair back and avoid wearing any dangling jewellery.

Your teacher can also travel within 50 kms of Bondi Junction, to a venue of your choice for a private class

Lesley is the owner and operator of For Heaven's Cake, based in Coogee. Although working in finance for much of her professional life, Lesley had always had a passion for baking. Fifteen years ago she decided to take the plunge and change careers, training in Baking and Pastry at Sydney TAFE. Whilst attending this course, Lesley discovered a love of cake decorating, which led to her starting her own business producing celebration cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Lesley is happy to share her passion with students and looks forward to welcoming you all to class!
