Drool is the latest Food Experience platform to launch in Melbourne, hosting events that are designed to bring people together in celebrating our common love of food. We provide a series of in-person and virtual food experiences such as cooking and baking classes, cheese making, wine tasting and cheese pairing and cocktail making events!

Our experiences are hosted by our talented team of culinary instructors who include MasterChef Australia contestants, media personalities, Michelin star chefs, sommeliers, Mixologists and passionate home cooks! Our events are hosted from local venues all around Melbourne and support our Melbourne hospitality industry.

At Drool, we believe that in the sharing of food and beverages, barriers are broken down and we create opportunities to meet, learn from, empathise with and be inspired by one and other. Our experiences are dedicated to cultivating these connections, in creating deliciously unforgettable memories.

This class far exceeded our expectations. Edoardo is an incredible chef with amazing knowledge about pizza. As a clinical nutritionist I even learnt facts about pizza I wasn't even aware of. I now feel confident to make my own traditional Sicilian pizza! And the pizzas we got to taste were amazing.

I’ve loved eating at Shop 225 for years, and this was such a fun, relaxed class. I particularly enjoyed learning the science behind gluten free gnocchi - and their recipe tasted as good as regular gnocchi. Highly recommend for a fun time with friends, a partner, or even family.

The class was very educational. The chef gave us great insight into gluten.
He was very thorough in explaining how to make the gnocchi and e were given the the option of two sauces to choose from to enjoy our home made gnocchi.
The gnocchi was delicious as was the tomato based sauce.
The host was super friendly ensuring we had everything we needed.
I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to learn how to make gnocchi.

Was very shocked that we didn’t make the sauce either. It was just making the actual pasta (potato, flour, egg and salt). Felt too expensive $100 just to make pasta?
Knowledge was good but if it would be more clear that we wouldn’t be making sauces too that would be better. I know my table agreed and said the same thing. For this reason, price should of been $65max

Edoardo - chef was extremely knowledgeable and made sure to give personal tips or advice to each person on the day.
The host Penny was amazing. Made everyone feel welcome and was great at asking questions on behalf of others or seeking clarification with the chef as he was demonstrating.
The venue has great parking on the main street. Bathrooms are up x2 steps with no handrail. Hallway is narrow.

Our teacher was so passionate and informative! The event was run so well and organised in terms of the ingredients and stations, working in pairs and breaking it up with trying some of Chef Anthony’s macarons.

The only improvement I would suggest is different way of using the ovens as most of ours changed colour the longer they were in - this is understandable as it was only the second time using the venue. The session was so fun and I will definitely book again!

The pizza making class was absolutely amazing! I've been making pizza all my life and still learn't plenty of tips that I didn't know about. From the moment I walked in, the place was fully prepped with bowls of flour and aprons etc. Edoardo the teacher was so so informative and really patient in the way that he showed us how to make pizza. We all got to make our own dough and cook pizza with plenty to take home. Can't recommend this course enough! I went by myself but I think it would be so much fun with a partner or friend or gift it to someone for an experience type gift. Amazing

Fantastic class and teacher and good pace for trialling something new. I’ve never made a Japanese dish before, so the group class was fun and helpful to learn how to use the new ingredients. I think we all appreciated the chance to ask questions as we want along. Delicious result - will definitely make it again, and I’m keen to buy an appropriate serving dish for a poke bowl! I feel very confident with the Class Bento lesson!

The course was extremely well run. The host help us all to get into the spirit of things, and provided a good balance of her own annecdotes as well as bringing other participants into the discussion. The chef was obviously skilled and experienced, although I personally have not watched MasterChef and had no idea of who she was. The hosting platform provided a great environment to chat as a group and interact with the host and chef. The Japanese Poke Bowl recipe was excellent. It afforded plenty of flexibility to use whatever protein we wanted to (chicken, salmon tofu etc), as well as the opportunity to add additional items such as extra veg, egg etc. The chef lead us through all the steps very well, with the host encouraging participant's questions and showing off their work for comment. I will defintely look to do other cooking courses.

13 of us participated in this class yesterday and we all absolutely loved it! The class itself was very well run, with a fabulous host who kept conversation going and made sure participants had a chance to speak when they wanted to. Having the cooking lesson led and demonstrated by Dee was great - she was excellent at explaining things and answering questions along the way. The dish itself was delicious - I will definitely be cooking it again! When the class ended, everyone in our group was able to continue hanging out on zoom so we could keep chatting for as long as we wanted to. We all had a fantastic time A great activity to participate in during lockdown.
