For Angie, cooking has always been about the sharing of food. It’s about the anticipation of sitting down together and having quality time to talk and share a meal.

Angie is daughter of Chinese cooking legend Elizabeth Chong and granddaughter to pioneering and dim-sim creator William Wing Young. She also designed Victoria’s first fully accredited Asian Cookery course at William Angliss Institute of TAFE where she taught for nearly 20 years.

Drawing on both her professional and personal background Angie delivers a workshop that is both informative and very personal.

Come and join her at her beautiful home in the kitchen of The Humble Dumpling. Workshops are hands-on and of course include sitting down at a shared table afterwards.

Fantastic class. Ang is such a lovely soul who makes you feel at home as soon as you walk into her home. Was great value for money, learnt a lot and ate a lot of delicious food. If you’re thinking about doing a dumpling class I couldn’t recommend the Humble Dumpling high enough
