This is a two-part (liquid and powder), water-based, Jesmonite AC100 kit. Jesmonite is an eco-resin that is non-toxic and VOC free, safe to make without needing any special protection equipment.
The kit is all packaged in sustainable packaging that is either reusable, recyclable, biodegradable or compostable.

This DIY terrazzo small round coaster kit contains everything you need to make four coasters, plus enough pigment to make many more.
What’s included in your craft kit:
- Easy to follow and detailed instruction manual and video tutorial
- One reusable silicone small round coaster mould (8.5 x 1.2 cm)
- 220 g Jesmonite AC100 powder base
- 88 g Jesmonite AC100 liquid
- Five pigments (white, black, red, blue, yellow)
- Two large biodegradable cups
- Four small biodegradable cups
- Six wooden stirring sticks
- Four wooden toothpicks
- Sandpaper (various grits)

I love all things terrazzo and I want to share with you everything related to this art form. I came across eco resin on Instagram during the Lockdown 6.0 (my fellow Melburnians will understand this) in 2021.
When I tried eco resin, I fell in love with the feeling of creating rather than consuming, and the fun and therapeutic experience came along with it. I’ve always been one of those people who say they don’t have a creative bone in their body, yet, I was able to connect with my creative self, letting go of the self-doubt because it was so easy and fun to create.
Why eco resin? I believe our eco resin kits are a form of art therapy and a creative outlet that allows space for mindfulness, creativity and self-care. Eco resin is environmentally-friendly, durable, non-toxic, VOC free and safe to make with children without requiring special protective equipment.
Why Kindred Hands kits? I have become increasingly environmentally conscious in recent years. I know sustainability is no longer a fad, but the future. Therefore, I wanted to create eco resin kits that don’t cost the earth. I use as little plastic as I can and all my packaging is eco-friendly within my budget and accessibility. I search for the best material on the market.
