This fun and easy to follow step by step workshop is designed to allow you to understand how different acrylic painting techniques and mediums can totally change the appearance of your finished artwork.

Along the way you will learn a little about brushwork, colour mixing, acrylic painting mediums, mixed media and tonal values. If you have never painted before this workshop is for you. If you have previous experience you still will find this a helpful course on technique and alternate ways with which to ways to express yourself in paint.

All materials and written notes are included. Spend a creative time with like-minded people and take home new skills, knowledge and beautiful artwork that showcases the possibilities acrylic painting has to offer.

What to bring
Please wear old clothes as it can get messy and bring your own lunch. There is a microwave, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities on site.

Linda MacAulay adheres to COVID-19 government guidelines. They won't run this class if they've had flu symptoms in the last 14 days.

My studio has facilities for hand washing, hand sanitizer, and antibacterial wipes for your personal use. Each student has their own desk placed more that 1.5 meters apart. Surfaces and equipment
are cleaned before use. Classes are limited to a maximum of 4 students with the possibility of one on one sessions if required.

Linda’s early study was with photography, drawing and painting. Inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of the Australian landscape she decided to become a landscape artist and developed a distinctive style which uses vivid colour and detail. “I strive to capture the essence of our country from the rich redness of the Pilbara to the turquoise waters of our spectacular coastline.”

After living in Perth for 10 years and traveling extensively around Australia, Linda now calls Melbourne home where she has continues to paint, exhibit and teach. Linda is recognised as one of Australia's foremost watercolour artists and her work has been described as quirky, bold and innovative.
