What you'll do
Looking for creative things to do at home? Learn how to create your own printed textile items in this fun live streaming class!
This is a great class for beginners to get a taste for printmaking. During the interactive class, you will print your own tote bag or tea towel, working through your design and placement of the blocks to create your own unique keepsake.
You will discover just how fun and easy printmaking is and at the end of the one-hour class, you will have a unique item to keep or give away. You will also have three wooden blocks that you can re-use to print other textile items, cards or wrapping paper.
Please note: Details to access the notes and interactive session will be emailed to you after payment. Postage for the kit is included if you live in Australia.

Beginner-friendly.
What you'll get in your craft kit
- A tote bag (natural coloured) or tea towel (white) to print - enter your choice when you book
- Three wooden Indian printing blocks - each approx 2cm. They will be a leaf, flower, paisley or other tasteful design (unfortunately it isn't possible to select specific designs as the supplies are somewhat random)
- Two fabric inks - Ocean Blue (light and dark blue) colour palette
- Two foam applicators
- Written notes
What you'll need
Just yourself and a clear workspace. Maybe some masking tape and scrap paper/newspaper to help protect your workspace.
Your teacher
I run etching, lino print and textile workshops on a regular basis. All groups are small and relaxed with a focus on having fun while learning how to create your own original artworks. No experience is necessary to join the courses and beginners are very welcome.
I have been teaching for a number of years, having studied art at Sydney College of the Arts (Sydney University) and the College of Fine Arts (University of NSW).
