Welcome! In this workshop, kids will learn how to make natural garden styled floral arrangement or Christmas Wreath with one or two lovely florists from Peony Story. This is a a class designed for 1 kid to participate hands on flower arrangement.
In this class, a child will learn the basic floral design techniques: how to use colour wheel, understand texture and floral layering structure. It's a wonderful way to get kids to play with various fresh and seasonal flowers or make their own Christmas Wreath leading up to Christmas.
Kids love playing with different textures of flowers and foliage: bunny tail grass, kangaroo paws, Australian natives, etc.
All of the flowers and materials will be provided to design a flower garden basket or a Christmas Wreath.
Come join us to unleash your kid's creativity and learn the secrets of good floral arrangements. You will be surprised what kids can create!
Kids over 8 are more than welcome to join on their own.

Peony Story is one of the very few European Style florists based in Sydney. It's renowned for its naturally wild, romantic and soft style to curate flowers to tell a story. Nikki, the chief designer from Peony Story has lived in London for two years and has developed her very own style in London and Paris from some of the world-famous florists. She believes that beautiful flowers will bring us joy and hope in our daily life, hence she's dedicated to bring flower experience to non-florists and aspiring florists through floral workshops and events.
