What you'll do
Kids will have a great experience making a Flowers & Bling Mosaic and will take their creation home. Perfect for school holiday activities, casual drop-in sessions and birthday parties for kids!
This is a great craft activity suitable for children from six years plus. Using the most beautiful array of blingy beads, sequins, polymer clay flowers and sparkly mosaic glass tiles, and a choice of a huge range of templates, children create floral bead/sequins and glass art mosaics in a fun and artistic environment. The result is very beautiful and fit to be framed and hung in your home.
This activity begins with children choosing a template of their choice (we have a very wide range including picture frames, love hearts, hamsa's, pineapples, letters of the alphabet, unicorns, flowers and much more); then painting their template in a colour that will be a background to the colour group they choose for their beads/flowers/tiles. They then design and stick shiny tiles/beads as a border, and fill the piece with an array of beads and flowers.Â
This is a stimulating, fun, creative and relaxing activity. The outcome is gorgeous. It is a beautiful experience to do with your child. Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult, although adults are welcome to stay and help.
Making a Flowers & Bling Mosaic is a calming and mindful experience. This, together with being creative, social and relaxing, makes it a unique experience where kids are happy to leave their technology at home and enjoy the moment.

Merryl’s Mosaics and Glass Studio is a mosaic and glass fusing studio where people of all ages come to experience the wonderful world of glass art. We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations. We have a great, arty studio. Come and enjoy the creative, relaxing and therapeutic experience of working with glass in an arty, colourful environment.
