Really enjoyed the class! It was definitely harder than I expected as a first-time sewer (some of the sewing machine steps were a bit confusing lol), but Jeni was so supportive and patient the whole way through. The four hours flew by, and I was satisfied with how my pouch turned out. Highly recommend the class.
Hopefully Jeni opens her own studio one day!

Highly recommend! Jeni is a wonderful teacher, as patient & kind as she is experienced. Still can't believe we each made such well-finished, professional-looking projects in just one afternoon having walked into her studio with pretty much zero sewing experience! Not only did Jeni cover the basics, but she also addressed with ease common mishaps which inevitably arise for beginners. This sewing class was such a fantastic experience. The instructor Jeni, was patient, knowledgeable, and made every step easy to understand, even for a complete beginner. The class was well organized, with a perfect balance of demonstrations and hands-on practice.
By the end of the course, I had completed a project I was genuinely proud of and felt much more confident using a sewing machine.
The materials and workspace were great, and the small class size allowed for plenty of individual attention. Whether you’re brand new to sewing or looking to improve your skills, I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning a fun and practical new skill.

As someone who’s never touched a sewing machine, I learnt a lot! Absolutely not confident to take on solo projects but could follow instructions and produced a cute pouch! Great intro to sewing, small class size really helped to get enough attention. We overran by 1hr, bring snacks!

I attended this class as I was given a gift card. It was a really good basic beginner class, learning the basics of the machine, going over how to thread the machine and take care of it. We were able to try out different fabrics and stitches. Can't believe we also finished making a pouch with a zipper! Felt like quite an achievement since I have never sewn before. Recommend this class to anyone who would like to jump in and give sewing a go.

I thoroughly enjoyed the class with Jenny. I was able to quickly learn some essential skills such as threading the machine, winding the bobbin, and different types of stitches. Jenny was patient and explained/demonstrated things very clearly, and happily answered questions and helped us as we tried to independently practice the skills we were learning. Within the 3 hours we were all able to finish a lined and zippered pouch. It would be great if the space had a little more room for a few more machines, however even with only 4 machines between 7 students the class still flowed well and everyone had a chance to practice and finish their pouch project.
