Gardening and Floristy Class: Dutch Master

Learn Dutch Masters floristry in the Adelaide Hills

3 hours Class size 8 to 40     label $335

Discover the techniques and design skills needed to create your own Dutch Masters inspired flower arrangement in a beautiful, glass compote to take home. We will also show you how to photograph your arrangement to achieve the famous Dutch Masters effect.

Workshop attendees absolutely loved this class when we ran it for the first time in 2021!

All the flowers you use in your arrangement will be grown by Rebecca and cut that morning from her farm near Robe. Learn from a flower farmer how to grow your own flowers and prioritise the tasks that will give you maximum impact in your cutting garden in Spring, Summer and Autumn.

You’ll come away with information on the very best and most productive flowering plants, combined with the best cut-and-come-again varieties. We will share practical advice on plant varieties, colour combinations and planting schemes.

This wonderful half-day workshop at The Oaks in the Adelaide Hills includes all presentations and tuition, a tour of the garden, flowers and materials, and a vintage tea with handmade cakes. This is a small group workshop to allow for individual attention. A large range of flowers will be brought from our Flower Farm near Robe.

We are a Florist in Robe, South Australia. We do weddings, events, workshops and deliver flowers within Robe and Kingston SE.

We started planting our boutique flower farm in early 2019 and started cutting in Spring the same year. We use all the stems we grow and over time hope to only use our flowers in our floristry and flower classes. Our flower farm is in South Australia, situated on the Limestone Coast between Kingston and Robe and our Florist and Flower School is in Robe SA.

As well as the traditional favourites such as roses, sweet peas, tulips and dahlias, we grow hundreds of different flowers and are trialling new varieties to add to our collection.

We only harvest the best of what is in bloom so you get the freshest, locally grown seasonal flowers available. Focusing on heirloom and scented flowers, we are already able to offer varieties typically not available in regular florists.
