Glass on Glass Mosaic Class

3 x 3 hours Class size 3 to 6 label $155 or 4 payments of $38.75 Afterpay

In this series of three classes, you will enhance your mosaic skill set and learn more about the magical art of mosaic using the transparent beauty of glass as you create a glass on glass mosaic (or two!).

GOG mosaics are like creating a stained glass window, but without the fussy, technical perfection of lead lighting. You can be so much more creative! Layer glass tessera, leave your artwork ungrouted so as not to break up your image- or grout your finished GOG mosaic, filling spaces between tessera to give your artwork that lead lighted look.

You will come away from this short course with a unique little artwork that will channel a myriad colours to brighten any corner of your home or garden.

What you'll get
All course-specific materials included:
Colour transparent glass shards & mosaic tiles, textured glass shards, glass drops, A4-size clear glass base, UV glue for fusing (day class)
Silicone glue (night class)
Use of all studio tools
Mosaic shop for materials not included in the course fee.
What to bring
We are working with glass, so you must wear covered in shoes- no thongs or sandals please! Bring a box or two to organise your selection of transparent glasses. The specific design you would like to do, enlarged up to A4 size. Alternately, we'll wing it and simply design something at your first class!
