Kelly has been playing the piano for over 20 years. She began playing the piano at the age of 9. At the age of 16, she completed her Grade 7 Practical and Grade 5 Theory in Piano at the Australian Guild of Music and Speech. Due to cultural and family pressures, she took a path of Medical Science until her mid-twenties. The passion of music was always present so she decided to audition for tertiary studies at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). On her search for a piano teacher to help her audition, she came across a few teachers who told her she was too old, had stopped playing the piano for too long and they wouldn't take her on as a student. However, she was determined to pursue a path of music so she found a teacher who prepared her for the audition and she was accepted in WAAPA upon her first audition and graduated with a Diploma of Music (Piano). She has shown that you are never too old to start learning music with the 3 P's. Most people consider the  + more
