I had a wonderful time at the Prototype Play workshop.

Jeff is a wonderful facilitator, he took the time to answer everyone’s questions and helped troubleshoot and made suggestions on how we could reach the goal we had in mind for our creations.

I left the workshop wanting to use the skills and ideas that I had learnt, which feels like a good indication of how enjoyable the workshop was.

If you get the opportunity to attend one of these workshops I highly recommend it.

I had a fan girl moment, attending a prototype cardboard art workshop with Jeff McCann, and it was such a fantastic day. Jeff created an inclusive, supportive environment that encouraged experimentation and creative risk taking. The workshop was inspiring, offering a wealth of practical ideas that can be easily adapted to an educational setting. It also sparked some exciting personal development plans for my own art practice. A valuable and rewarding experience.

I booked this class after seeing it advertised on Instagram and loving Jeff’s artmaking practice. Because it was offered during the schools holidays I was able to attend and it did not disappoint. The prototype play workshop was fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great to spend time networking with other art teachers and artists. The atmosphere was perfect, a creative, relaxed, collaborative space with like minded people. Jeff, the workshop facilitator was brilliant; helpful, inspiring and motivating. Great workshop! Lots of ideas to get you started or you can bring your own design. Louise was encouraging and gave tips when carving your design with the Lino tools. The workshop timing was perfect with plenty of time to print on different papers and try collage effects.

The Host explained in detail about Reverse garbage and the various resources during the tour! We liked the displayed mobiles and various artefacts and models with Recyclable materials. We bought handful of resources for our centre and the children loving a lot of them. We would love visit Reverse garbage very often for more ideas and inspiration!

Yoko is one of the best teacher of a practical/artistic skill I've experienced. The art of Kintsugo has its origins in ancient Zen practice, we worked with Yoko to repair and decorate a small broken dish, we all completed the repair and decoration as if time had stood still. I am confident that I can now repair and decorate other broken items and apply things I practiced in class. Ive set up a cosy corner for my Kintsugo kit, excited to get going. Yoko was clear, focussed, engaging and entertaining. I totally recommend Yoko's class - the Japanese Art Kintsugi Ceramic Repair Workshop.
