Leah is a great teacher! Not only is she an extremely patient and knowledgeable but she was super understanding and flexible with scheduling. She was very accomodating when we asked for a weekend morning session and then we had to reschedule again, this all due to a family member having a chronic illness and being housebound. Unfortunately all that effort ended in our family member being too unwell to participate in the class on the day. Leah was so lovely, she ended up recording our class and sending us the link. We’re super grateful and can’t wait to watch the class again when our family member is better again. I also can’t wait to finish my cat cross stitch. It’s such a relaxing art form and cat pattern is so cute! And I know my husband has been really enjoying working on his dinosaur.

I loved this class, Leah was a great instructor. I thought 2 hours was a while but it flew by. I knew nothing about cross stitch when i started but 2 hours later I am confident and ready to start my projects. Leah had lots of patience and provided tips and tricks to make it easier. Embroidery Workshop: Cross Stitch Basics

I really enjoyed this class and I would recommend it to everyone who is looking to learn the basics about cross-stitching and have fun while doing it. The cross-stitch kits are all super cute and fun, so it was hard to pick only one. The teacher is very enthusiastic, friendly and she makes sure that you learn during the class. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a new hobby from home.

Textiles class

I’m a complete beginner when it comes to sewing, ie I know nothing! Nothing. BUT I am SO GLAD I did this course, because in 2 hours I went from knowing nothing to actually understanding how to sew a button, mend a seam and sew a hem! Best 2 hours I’ve ever spent! Leah is a gem. She was flexible, patient and clear with her instructions. She was willing to go back over things I didn’t grasp straight away, and with her help I actually did. Honestly never in my life would I have thought I could sew, but thanks to her I reckon I now can. She managed the online instructing well (which, let’s face it, the transition from face to face to digital isn’t always easy), I was able to see clearly what she was doing and follow on.

I highly recommend Leah as a teacher and would highly recommend any class with her.

I can’t wait to continue my sewing escapades and do more courses with her!

The class was great - not just an earring making class but a lesson in experimenting with design. There were so many options, and being able to paint the etchings allowed for each design to be further customised. A very worth while course.
