What you'll do

Looking for creative things to do in Melbourne? Join Little Woods Studio for their hands-on beginner-friendly hand building workshop and learn to make your own unique vessel from clay!
In this two-hour workshop, you will get to explore hand building techniques that will allow you to create your own ceramic art. You will be guided through the foundational techniques of hand building and encouraged to explore your own creativity in a welcoming environment. Using techniques such as pinching, coiling and joining, you will be able to create a functional piece that will be glazed and fired after you've finished!
You can also use your new skill set to create mugs, vases and bowls too! Why not kickstart your next creative obsession and gain the confidence to continue on your hand building journey at home!
This workshop also aims to help people to connect to their creativity and to play, all while having fun getting messy with clay.
Please note:
You will be able to collect your finished piece three to four weeks after the workshop, once it has been glazed and fired.
