Paella and Sangria Cooking Class
Lola was wonderful, so much energy and was great with getting everyone involved. The space was great, small but perfect for the number of attendees. Wandering up to the market was really valuable as she talked us through why she used certain things in her recipe. No more hard chorizo for me in my paella Had fun, lots of laughs, lots of sangria. Very relaxed. Was a beautiful day out with my sister.

Mexican Cooking Class: Frida Fiesta
Fun class and tasty recipes. The recipes were also fairly simple we’re for things that we would likely try to cook at home, rather than anything highly complex, technical or labour intensive that we would be unlikely to reuse.
Looking forward to cooking these at home!

Argentinian Street Food Cooking Class
Lola is so enthusiastic and charming. I love coming to her classes because you know you’re going to be fed well and promised a fun time cooking and enjoying her quirks and stories. We always go to the South Melbourne market first to collect all the ingredients. Then we made mini chorizo sandwiches, beef ribs, chimichurri, chocolate torte and sangria. Would come back again. Thank you!

Paella and Sangria Cooking Class
This activity was the honestly the best team building offsite we have ever had . Lola was gorgeous, flamboyant and so funny and it was such a joy being in her kitchen. She provided an excellent cooking class with easy to follow instructions, coloured with personal stories , energy and enthusiasm. I would thoroughly recommend this activity to others .

Great way to spend a few hours - doing 'the shop' at the nearby market, some simple prep while enjoying Sangria, great music, best ever fun teacher, and the Paella was divine - just hope I can reproduce?! Fun fun fun

Peruvian Cooking Class
A visit to South Melbourne market where Lola knows everyone and everyone knows Lola followed by pisco sour, kingfish ceviche and some dishes I can’t pronounce nor remember. Stimulating for the tastebuds and good times to be had.

The teacher was friendly, funny and knowledgeable.
The venue was light, airy and comfortable.
Class was great value for money.

What a great afternoon. Lola is the best host as not just a teacher, but she creates such a fun and relaxed environment. The afternoon went so quick as we were constantly doing different things, walking around the markets and hearing about the tradition of the ingredients, then making sangria, to the paella making, which was delicious. Highly recommend.

Paella and Sangria Cooking Class
A visit to South Melbourne market followed by sangria and paella. After many a sangria, everything seemed better. The class really benefits from its close proximity to South Melbourne market, fresh seafood, saffron, veggies and fruits. It was a merry affair. Lola is very energetic and charismatic.

Mexican Cooking Class: Frida Fiesta
After getting all the ingredients from South Melbourne market, We made margaritas and sangria to start. The alcohol was strong and really kicked into gear the cooking class. We made guacamole, salsa, tortillas and we enjoyed tacos. Everyone had a good time. Lola was lively and passionate.
