Do you love jam, jam making and good old fashioned home preserving? Did you stop doing it because of all that sugar?  Well, we have the solution for you; home preserving basics / sugar-free replacements.

Join Valerie Pearson, author of Sugar Free Home Preserving,  as she takes you through traditional jam making and then flip it on its head and shows you have to do this without sugar. The jams taste amazing and it is fast and easy to make.  Whether you’re a beginner or just want to know more, by the end, you will have a good foundation for filling your pantry with delicious home preserves.

There will also be available for sale on the night – preserving kits, supplies and equipment, plus copies of Valerie’s Book ‘Sugar Free Home Preserving’

Presented by Valerie Pearson from Green Living Australia.

Please note: This class requires at least five students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class

Valerie's and Joanne's class was fun and very educational.
The class was small (8 people) and the Woodsters venue was quiet, informal and easy to park near.
I particularly liked that the ladies focused solely on no and low sugar jams and were happy to answer questions.
I also loved that we were able to taste the jam that was made.
Perhaps in future classes, they could provide a selection of pre-made jams and preserves for tasting, as we only got to try one flavour. Just a thought.
Thanks Valerie and Joanne for sharing your extensive knowledge.
