What you'll do
Collage has so many possibilities and is a great way to create amazing compositions and play around and experiment before you stick an image down.
In this beginners live streaming class, we will discover collage techniques, collect together and compose images from magazines and discarded ephemera and combine with patterned papers and paint to create striking images that can be humorous and cheeky or serious and moody - it's all up to you.
Collages can be figurative or abstract and it is a perfect method of image-making to use in a creative visual journal or to make pieces of art to frame. Collage has been used as a political tool and has a reputation for being subversive but it can also be used to be plain beautiful, think Matisse's giant 'cut-outs'.

What you'll need
All materials are included but feel free to bring along scissors or your magazines and images downloaded from the Internet that takes your fancy. Matte images are best.
