What you'll do
Want to put your creativity to the test and take your screen printing skills to the next level? Join Troppo Print Studio's Melbourne screen printing workshop for intermediates and learn new skills from a friendly professional.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn new screen printing techniques in a fun and interactive environment. You'll learn how to prepare your screen, including tips on coating emulsion, posing and screen stripping, as well as how to print your designs onto a variety of paper or fabrics using various coloured inks.
Searching for experience gifts for someone or want to just try something new yourself? This screen printing workshop will leave you feeling creatively fulfilled with a fun new tea towel, shirt, tote bag or poster and the knowledge to continue your screen printing journey at home!

Knowledge required
This is an intermediate workshop, for those who have some knowledge of screen printing.
What you'll get
- Guidance from an expert
- All materials provided
- Your own screen printed design to take home!
What to bring
- Upon booking, send your artwork to [email protected] and it will be prepared for your arrival
- Wear closed-toe shoes and suitable clothing for printing in. Aprons are provided but sometimes a blob of ink goes astray
- Pen and paper
- Additional paper/fabric you would like to try printing on
- Any specific colour in colours you'd like to work with (must be water-based ink).
Troppo Print Studio is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and adheres to COVID-19 government guidelines.

Led by two practising artists that mix screenprinting and soft sculpture. we are excited to share the process, and analog techniques that might surprise.

Loved, loved, loved this course. Sarah was so knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. Her expert guidance led to me leaving with some amazing prints!
I loved that Sarah was happy for me to try different things while she was teaching the basics, things like printing on a waffle shirt and trying offset printing. Both of which, turned out amazing
Do yourself a favour and book into this workshop! Such a great workspace there in Coburg too.
