The candle making class was fun and informative. Jane had a lovely space and professional set up at her home (as well as a welcoming furry friend). Jane was very informative on how to make candles so we can make our own, and had starter packs for us to purchase. Jane was a great teacher, thank you!

The class was informative in regards to content and the candle turned out lovely. The venue however was unexpected, being in a residential outside courtyard, while cold & raining, with no heating. Overall, it was enjoyable morning, however venue detracted from the experience and value perception.

The instructor was lovely, very informative and made sure we had all the knowledge and skills needed to make candles on our own after the class was over. The venue was perfect, a nice relaxing patio with plenty of space for everyone to work. The candles smell divine and I can’t wait to be able to burn them and enjoy the fragrance!

This was a wonderful class, it was enjoyable but really felt like I was learning a skill at the same time. Plenty of time to have your questions answered, and the candles we created look and smell amazing. Took along my ten year old daughter and she was easily able to be included and participate. A really lovely way to spend an afternoon.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed making candles with Jane. Everything was well set up, plenty of choices for fragrances, colours and decoration. Jane explained the process step by step with lots of opportunities to ask questions and time to make notes. We both feel inspired and confident to make more candles at home. Jane made that easier too as she offered small packs of necessary materials for us to purchase at a very reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend this workshop. The class size was perfect, it was fun, informative and great value.

Fun, creative, relaxing. Our teacher, Jane, was friendly and knowledgeable. The class was well paced and the candles we made were beautiful. Jane and her husband have a wonderful property and it's the perfect setting for this workshop. Tooyay is far enough away from Perth that you feel like you're on a little adventure.

The setting was beautiful and only a short drive from Perth. The teacher was friendly and helpful and there was a good range of scents and colours to choose from. I had expected to be taught how to make the lotion and body wash from scratch and mix ingredients together, but this workshop gives you the base and you just add colour and scent to it. I would have also liked to come away with some class notes on supplies required, supplier names and additional information so I could easily expand on what I learnt. It’s the perfect class for someone who just wants to make a one off set of soaps and lotions or for something fun to do as a group.

Teacher was gorgeous- very efficient, gave lots of info. Venue was fabulous and surprisingly cool considering the 40 odd degree heat. Lots of choice for fragrance colours and decorations. I lovely way to spend a couple of hours and learn a new skill.

I really enjoyed Jane’s soy candle making class, which had the perfect balance of theory and practical learning. Jane is very knowledgeable on the topic and was happy to answer all our questions. The class was small and intimate and we got to choose our own fragrance and colours for our personalised creations. Was so good to come away from the class with handmade goods. Highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn something new or explore this as a business venture.

The candle making course was very informative and well structured. The host Jane was extremely knowledgeable on the subject. The outdoors venue was a little cool, however in warmer months it would be lovely. Overall I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn candle making from a professional!

Jane and Mark were both so welcoming. Both had a lot of knowledge with candle making and were happy sharing this knowledge. All materials were provided as well as snacks and drinks. Great choices with scents, colours and different sizes of jars. Will definitely be going to Toodyay for more.
