Knitting Class: Basics
This was a lovely experience with a very good teacher, patient, fun, funny and diligent. I made more progress than I thought was possible and left feeling really confident in my learning to go off and practice. I think depending on your previous experience be prepared to not learn everything and go at your own pace and perhaps return to keep learning. But highly recommend the experience - lots of fun. Even got home made biscuits!

We really enjoyed this workshop and I have come away able to commence my own crochet project. Jan was very patient and attentive, and provided a lot of great tuition. She is passionate about crochet and knitting, and easy to learn from. It was an extra bonus to be the only two on Saturday, so the 1:1 was great. Loved the space and the venue was great. Thanks Jenny.

Crochet Workshop: Baby Bao (Dumpling)
Jenny is very friendly and patient. Crochet is hard and 3 hours maybe not enough for an inexperience student to do the project but my daughter managed to learn some skills from Jenny to practise more at home. Will definitely use more classes from Bento.

I had the most wonderful time. Class was very hands on; lots of practice meant that I was able to learn each stitch quickly.
Jenny is an expert teacher, very patient and calm. She has incredible knowledge about all things crotchet and knitting. She was super nice about repeating instructions and she had multiple ways to illustrate various techniques.
Perfect class for people wanting a new skill.

Crocheting Class: Basics
Jenny welcomed my daughter and I into her home, with cups of tea and all materials supplied. She tailored the class to our needs and skill level, enabling me to produce a granny square and take home the instructions, wool and hook so I can continue in my own time. A very relaxing afternoon with pets for company and interesting conversation.

Amigurumi Crochet Workshop: Baby Owl
Jenny was really nice and supportive throughout the class, taught us the basics of crocheting really well and was patient when we couldn't do the knots properly.
Wouldn't say it was beginner friendly though if you want to be able to make an owl to take home. You would need some foundation in crocheting before coming to this class.
Still managed to take home the kit to potentially try it out ourselves :)

Absolutely phenomenal. Jenny is so approachable and patient. I was a beginner and had done the bare minimum of one stitch type and no pattern reading, so was skeptical, but I am now well on the way to my completed project and so happy with it. Couldn't recommend more highly!

She’s written many books and she’s a fabulous person with an interesting story.
The materials provided were very high quality and the Rosie Rabbit pattern is easy to follow for beginners and for slightly experienced crocheters too.
