I started KH Designs in 2017 while working full time. After working full time in the corporate world, I wanted a work life balance and after finding a passion for resin art I knew it was for me!

I enjoy the creativity that comes from creating resin art. Throughout my life I’ve always had a creative flare and previously had a background in fashion design and hairdressing. As the popularity of KH Designs grew, workshops were introduced as a way to interact with my clients and allow them to create designs of their own.

Since then, creating experiences for my clients has become a key element of my business. I enjoy witnessing the creative process throughout the workshops and getting to know everyone on a personal level. We have lots of beginners come through and one my favourite things is seeing them build their confidence throughout the workshop and leave with a design they are proud of. Many of clients have now done several workshops with me as they thoroughly enjoy the experience.

February 2021, KH Designs Studio & Gift Shop was opened in Brendale. The Studio will be used to do a variety of workshops and provide other artisans a beautiful environment to teach their skills.

I’m looking forward to the next few years with KH Designs and seeing where my business grows!

Easy to follow instructions.
Very helpful with picking colours And ways to apply the resin.
All materials provided. No need for masks well ventilated area and they are well selected products that are not harmful.
I learnt tips and tricks I didn't know.
Enjoyed a cuppa and a cup cake.

Our group really enjoyed our Galentine resin workshop. Kerry carefully explained and demonstrated the process, then assisted each one of us. Everything was provided and we just had to choose our colours. The venue was lovely and well set out. We could browse through the shop beforehand which helped with colour selections also. It was great to learn a new skill in pleasant surroundings, have some wine and delicious treats with family and friends as well as meeting other participants. The class was very good value for money. This was the second resin workshop for three of us and both were great fun times, and we are looking forward to using our resin heart creations once the resin has settled and blemishes and drips on the wood underneath have been scraped and sanded.

Very nice space to work in with all materials provided. Clear instructions but a lovely, relaxed environment to learn something new. Great banter with teacher & other employees.
A lot of effort goes in to ensure you get a finished product you are happy with. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to try resin art.

Kerry made the entire workshop fun and made it so easy taking all my fear out of it. All materials, apron and gloves were provided for the class as well as a delicious cupper and a cupcake for morning tea (thanks Chris!).

The workshop was great value for money and Kerry made sure what you take home is a masterpiece of your own creative genius.

What a great day. The class was very professionally run with Kerri's (teacher) husband doing all the background work such as measuring the materials and mixing our colors so that Kerri was able to focus on helping and guiding the students. I absolutely loved the KH Designs cheeseboard/coasters workshop.
KH Designs workshop I came across after looking into many workshops online & most just didn’t have enough info. I am so glad I followed my gut because our teacher was informative, she knew her products, we knew exactly what was taking place each step before we even started. No-one said much as we were thoroughly absorbed in our work. I can’t emphasise enough how good it felt to never have to ask or worry ‘is this or that right’ we knew because of the instructions we were given right at the outset.

I tried out resin myself for the first time the week before & was so unsure of myself & now I am ready to take on more workshops & even better create things at home with confidence

This was a fabulous experience. I tried one of those ‘paint and sip’ resin pouring experiences at a bar and left with dripping wet thin coasters that didn’t dry for 3 months.
The experience with KH Designs was COMPLETELY different. The teacher was very knowledgeable, gave clear instructions and created a nice environment for beginners and people who had done it before. I can’t wait to pick up my (dry) stunning Lazy Susan. I’ve already recommended this workshop to friends.

We had never done this before so we both appreciated our teacher Kerry demonstrating what to do before starting our own pieces. Once again Kerry was great. She is always knowledgeable with all aspects of resin pouring. This was my 3rd class with her. This time I did a round serving tray and it looks great. All materials, which you require, are supplied and Kerry has a lovley shop and work area where classes are held. Plenty of parking spaces. Again I highly recommend Kerry at KH Designs at Brendale.

I just had an enjoyable morning with Kerry at KH Designs.
A very large, modern, bright, air conditioned studio space.
So many colour choices, over 100 resin pigments to choose from, and Kerry is there to help you every step of the way.
Kerry is so very knowledgeable on anything to do with resin.
I can highly recommend any of the Resin Workshops at KH Designs, and will definitely be back again as this is so addictive.

Kerry was a patient and welcoming teacher. Her purpose build studio in Brendale had ample parking and was easily accessible. I had an enjoyable time creating my own masterpieces with guidance from Kerry, she goes above and beyond your typical teacher and provides you with a finished piece that is fit for purpose. It was excellent class and very inviting. From a business aspect, don’t tell clients the boards are from Kmart, you do not need to justify your price. That is what it is set at they have already paid so they are there to do it. And start social media accounts so people can tag you instead of hastaging.

Hi, my name is Karen and I am a 'Resinaholic'!
I am so addicted to these workshops and Kerry makes it so enjoyable.
I attended a workshop back in September and was hooked. I've now been to 9 or 10 workshops and have absolutely enjoyed every one of them.
Every time I go I learn something new due to Kerry's expansive knowledge and know-how.
I generally go with an idea in my head, but when I see the vast selection of colours available I have been known to change my mind to something better than I had previously imagined.
It is a fun morning out, meeting new people with the same interests, and thirst for knowledge, as well as having a beautiful souvenir you have made yourself, to take home to show your family & friends.
My family are all looking forward to their Resin Boards for Christmas, so therefore I'll need to attend a few more workshops to get them all done

The lovely teacher was wonderful. All materials were supplied and you could add more. You get to do 4 coasters, l wanted to do 6. The instructions were simple and easy. Did a course with KH Design Studio today, and decorated a cheese board and coasters with resin, the colour mix was our choice. What fun it was, the products turned out fantastic with Kerry's help and guidance.
There were 5 others on the course, and all seemed to enjoy it as much as me. Kerry was a fantastic teacher and her staff helper was kind and helpful also. All in all a lovely experience.

Kerry was so lovely and such a great teacher, so welcoming. We had so much fun and the pieces we made are just beautiful. Was a great experience! Kerry was very informative, genuine and professional but also in such a laid back way that was comfortable! Specially for us beginners. There were 9 of us in the work station and plenty of room for movement. So many colours to choose from! We were supplied nibblies that were a treat aswell! Money well spent hands down!

Might just book another session to learn more & be even more creative!

Thoroughly enjoyed this class. Workshop is light and airy. All products were supplied and of good quality. Kerry is very patient and helpful, guiding the whole time. Lovely morning tea, including birthday cake for my friend. Highly recommend this class for a fun experience and to come away with something beautiful to keep.

Kerri was great and so well prepared with everything we needed to create our cheeseboards and coasters. There were so many colours available for us to select from. Her information was clear and encouraging.
I highly recommend to anyone who loves to be creative as no experience is needed.

Amazing Kerrie was so helpful and knowledgeable about resin etc Charlea has learning difficulties but walking to the car she told me it was the best fun she has had in ages and it was such good fun the venue was easy to find and beverages were on tap if u wanted the gift shop was beautiful with so much to choose from also Charlea and I can’t wait for next year to book another class with Kerrie highly recommend doing this and have something u have created to cherish thank you so much to u hubby and assistant for making our mother daughter time so memorable kind regards Charlea and Sandy Hahn

What another great art class with KH Designs. I always have a great time with Kerri and Bob, they are very helpful, & patient with me. Haha. I would recommend that you get a group together for a private class it is absolutely amazing. I also put a pic of the beautiful handmade basket I purchased from KH Designs. It looks great on my dining room wall.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves learning the process of this fun activity with many colours to choose from and many different patterns to create with the resin. We were impressed with the high level of service, knowledge and the general atmosphere KH designs delivered to our private session. We were greeted with offers of tea, coffee or wine and with a delicious choice of snacks to graze upon. Very happy with the choice to take a class here and will definitely be looking at future classes ahead.

Best classes I’ve ever been to. So much fun great value for money. You can even hire the studio out for you & your friends. You just take your art supplies with you, get a group of friends together & have a great day creating. Teacher is exceptional. Thanks Kerri & Bob haha.

What an absolutely fun day with my friends at K.H.Designs at brendale. We made beautiful cheese board & coaster set. Kerri the teacher is just fabulous. And her husband Bob done a pretty good job himself ( ha ha). They taught you everything you needed to know. A fantastic day. I recommend you get a group of friends together & do one of these art classes. Just brilliant everyone had an amazing time.

The venue was lovely, the teacher friendly and relaxed.
The class was fun and we were given as much or little support we wanted through the artistic process. The class size was good and set up in a way that you were able to talk to everyone there. All equipment was supplied and start up kits could be bought at the end if you wanted to do more at home. A lovely day out
