Searching for ways to exercise your green thumb in Sydney's Inner West? Spend an afternoon indoors at this jungle warehouse (filled with over 350 plants) in Stanmore making DIY kokedama moss balls!

In this workshop, you will learn about which plants do/don't make good kokedamas and the history behind the Japanese kokedama practice. Your teacher, The Plant Doctor, who cultivated all these plants is well versed in helping you choose your kokedama plants wisely, and will give you insider tips on how you can keep them alive and happy.

While you learn these new tips, you will be making your very own kokedama moss balls (plural!) Plus, we'll run you through everything you need to know about watering and maintenance to make sure your new friends thrive at home.

At the end of the class, your moss balls are all yours to take home and admire.

The Plant Doctor has been an indoor plant fanatic for many years now, and has cultivated over 500+ indoor plants. The Doctor is very passionate about sharing knowledge of how to grow, maintain and enjoy indoor plants, terrariums and jungles.

The Plant Doctor's workshop courses are very affordable and you can learn a variety of skills: how to care for indoor plants, make a tropical terrarium, make a succulent terrarium, make kokedamas, macrame and pot planters.

Learning how to care for and grow plants can be a great hobby and art form, but the practise can also bring you great life skills and personal development.

As well as the Plant Doctor's regular workshops, private workshops for birthdays and Hen's Nights are also popular. The terrarium workshops especially are a great way to do something fun with those you love, and have something that is easy care which you can keep, cherish and grow, for years to come.

Had a lovely morning creating 2 Kokedamas to take home. The space was light and bright but very hot, and could have been improved by the addition of some fans. Street parking at the venue was easy.

The class had no discussion or link to the Study of imperfection which I would have been interested to learn about
