What you'll do

Tteok is Korean traditional dessert that people often eat as a snack, dessert or breakfast in Korea. Lots of mums give tteok to their children as a healthier and fun snack!

The dough, which is made of rice flour, will be prepared before the children arrive. In the first hour of this class, kids will enjoy creating their own designs to shape approximately 10-20 pieces of tteok (depending on the sizes they make). Rather than just following the teacher's designs, kids will get to exercise their endless artistic capabilities and have fun being creative.

Then, the tteok will be steamed for 25 minutes. As they wait, kids will draw their own menus with coloured pencils. After that, it's time to eat! Tteok is best when eaten straight out from the steamer. A fun variety of dips and sauces such as ketchup, honey, and nutella will be provided for dipping the tteok.

Please Note:
The class will be held in an apartment so guardians will have to press the intercom upon arrival and drop off the kids to level 6. (Please check the email for unit number after you make a booking.)
