This class was amazing! Was guided through the process step by step, with help if needed, but also allowed to freely work and help when I decided to add extra. Actually explained why certain techniques are used. Was such a fun class. And I am so in love with my finished Racoon Trash Can Mug (totally can tell that is what is is hahahaha)

Mug Making with Deep Earth Ceramics. Sally was lovely, her instruction very clear and easy to follow, and she was incredibly supportive throughout the whole class. The vibe was calm, relaxing, and inspiring. This class is perfect for anyone like me who hasn't touched clay since high school, or even at all, and can also be enjoyed by anyone who wants to spend time with a friend or loved one doing something creative. My partner and I made mugs for each other and are so excited to use them. We'll definitely be looking at Sally's other classes for the future.

I love Sally’s ceramic classes. Sally is a fantastic teacher—knowledgeable, supportive, and easy to learn from. The classes are relaxed, enjoyable, and I always come away with something lovely that I’ve made myself. The studio is beautiful and a wonderful place to spend a few creative hours. I chose Deep Earth Ceramics for my daughter’s 10th birthday, Sally was a very gracious host who curated the space and the session to accompany the needs of our guests and my own desire to provide afternoon tea with a little themed decoration. The result was a lovely afternoon party where each guest was able to design their own creations with thoughtful guidance, in a location that was peaceful and beautiful. Sally was very kind, even through little accidents that were made by younger children, providing assistance while remaining unobtrusive- a skill rarely found, for which I was very grateful. Would absolutely love to try this experience again for myself one day.
