Hi, my name is Kristyn. I am a fibre artist based in the Blue Mountains of NSW and I work with the crafts of macrame, crochet and weaving.
I started crafting after my second child was born and quickly became addicted. What started as a therapeutic hobby has now turned into a small business and I am absolutely loving being a part of the creative community in the Blue Mountains.
I have a strong focus on using recycled or second-hand materials and the majority of my materials are purchased second hand. I love upcycling old things and giving them new life as beautiful home decor items!
I have been teaching macrame workshops for the past few years and I absolutely it.

Haven't done macrame before so was a nice project to start with clear instructions and enjoyed being able to work at my own pace.

Really enjoyable workshop where my daughter learned some cool macrame techniques - and now she wishes to continue making more pieces for Xmas gifts. The teacher was informative, clear and helpful with any questions. Location was perfect and class wasn't oversized so the teacher could assist each kid. The finished products look amazing and high quality too! My daughter has proudly put her macrame creations on display in her room. Very inspiring!

Kristyn runs a lovely class in a very calm and relaxing space. We chose the materials supplied option, which made the whole process simple and enjoyable. She had multiple colour choices for us on arrival and the supplies were of good quality.
Kristyn spent time showing the group how to crochet and then took time to ensure each student got one on one time.
We walked away with confidence that we had been shown the skills to complete our scarf project at home.
An added bonus she provided light refreshments.

Kristyn Prepared such lovely kits to mail out with the specific colours my daughter asked for all cut to size and prepared. The instructions to make the items were excellent and easy to follow and the end result and quality of product was great. I will definitely do another one of these classes! A great personal small business that will go far! Well done

Teacher was fantastic. She was super organised and offered excellent communication from the moment we booked. My daughter really appreciated being given the opportunity to pick the colours she worked with prior to the workshop and she was excited to get her supplies in the mail. Our teacher gave very clear instructions and demonstrated each step so we could follow along. She was really patient and shared good tips and tricks. My daughter and I had never done any macrame before and loved doing this workshop. My daughter kept saying how satisfying and relaxing macrame is and she loved all her creations. Awesome value for money. Definitely recommend for kids in upper primary.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. So easy to book a date and choose colours online. Kristyn sent the kit in plenty of time, and confirmed I'd received it. All these things made me feel valued as a customer. The class via zoom was so pleasant and I had a great close up view, was able to ask Kristyn to repeat something where I wasn't sure. She is so calm and patient
sharing tips and ideas. Everything explained in such a way that I had no stress at all. In fact it was very therapeutic. Best class I ever did. Will be recommending to all my friends. Thank you so much Kristyn.

This was a great class, small group allowed us to focus and chat while working. Teacher was informative and easy to ask questions. Once we finished our class, I made another with confidence I’d gained!

I really enjoyed the macramé mandala workshop. Kristyn is very patient and provides very clear instruction. I'm very impressed with the end result. I love that all the supplies are provided also.
